Green Smoothie Recipe

This green smoothie recipe has a combination of fruits and fresh spinach. A good food choice.
1 cup coconut water
1 cup brewed green tea
2 cups fresh spinach
2 kiwis (fresh or frozen)
1 cup pineapple chunks (fresh)
2 bananas (chunked and frozen)
When making smoothies plan ahead with your fruit.
Freeze the bananas ahead of time. Peel the bananas, cut into one inch chunks and place into the freezer in a sealed container.
In the blender put the coconut water and the spinach leaves. Turn on and blend until the spinach leaves are well blended.
Add the mango, pineapple and banana and blend until smooth.
If the smoothie is too thick, you can add extra coconut water or water.
Per serving: 4g Protein, 58g Carbohydrate (11g Fiber), 1g Fat, 232 calories
