Fried Fish Recipe
This fried fish recipe is seasoned with fresh herbs and bit of spice.
1 1/2 lbs white fish (haddock, tilipia or your choice)
1/4 cup cornmeal
1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs
for gluten free grind up pecans or walnuts)
1/2 teaspoon dried dill
1 Tablespoon fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes
1/3 cup milk
3 Tablespoons butter, melted
Serve with lemon wedges
In a shallow pie plate, combine cornmeal, breadcrumbs, dill, salt, pepper, chili flakes and parsley.
Place milk in another shallow dish.
Dip fish in milk, then in crumb mixture.
Heat large frying pan to medium-high with butter.
Cook fish on each side until flaky and opaque (ie. not see through).
Serve with lemon wedges.
