Baked Corn On The Cob Recipe
This baked corn on the cob recipe is done in the oven. These tasty corn cob sections are baked with salsa sauce.
2 Tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
6 ears corn, cut into 2 inch pieces
salt and pepper
1 430ml jar salsa sauce (your choice of hotness)
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper.
Cut and have ready a piece of aluminum foil large enough to cover the top of the pan.
In a small bowl, stir together the olive oil and mince garlic.
Grease the parchment paper with this mixture.
Peel the corn and break it into 2 inch pieces.
Place the baking prepared dish into the oven and heat it until the olive oil and pan is hot.
Use oven mitts to remove the hot pan from oven and set the corn pieces into the pan.
Spoon the salsa sauce on and around the corn pieces.
Season with salt and ground pepper.
Place the baking dish tightly with the piece of aluminum foil you pre-cut.
Place back into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. At the 15 minute mark, use tongs to flip the corn pieces over.
